Friends of Frenchay School (FOFS)

At Frenchay C of E Primary School we have a very active 'Friends of Frenchay School' (FOFS). They are an integral part of the school community. The funds raised are spent on equipment and resources to enhance our children’s education experience and the school’s facilities.

'Friends of Frenchay School' are about much more than simply fundraising. We aim to:
  • To help build a strong school community
  • To raise money to support the school

 How Can I Get Involved?

We are always looking for volunteers to help run the events – without parent/carers support these events just aren’t possible. It is always great to have fresh idea’s of what else we could be doing, so if you have any fundraising ideas please do get in touch.

Here are some other ways you might want to get involved;

  • Bake/buy cakes for your cake sale events.
  • Become a class rep – help the FOFS share information with everyone in your class and get parents in your class get socialising.
  • Join the kitchen team to help cook sausages/pizza at the events.
  • Sign up to volunteer to help sell tickets, be on the bar or serve food at the events.
  • Attend FOFS meetings to share your ideas or help make decisions.
  • Share a skill that might be useful to the FOFS – e.g. graphic designers can help with our publications/leaflets, chef’s may volunteer to cater for a pop up cafe night, artists/crafters could run a workshop.
  • Share contacts of businesses or venues that may be able to help us.
  • Raise money whilst you shop using Amazon Smile or using voucher codes e.g. for Stickins
