At Frenchay we currently have a capacity of 140 children on our roll. This is the equivalent of 20 children in each year group. We have 5 classes which are made up as below:
Unicorn: Reception = 20 children
Gruffalo: Year 1 and 2 = 30 children
Griffin: Year 2 and 3 = 30 children
Phoenix: Year 4 and 5 = 30 children
Dragon: Year 5 and 6 = 30 children
The children are split into their mixed age classes based on age.
When the school moves to its new site we will begin to grow over time. The speed in which this occurs will be dependent on the needs of the local area and in consultation with the LA.
